Dan and his wife Kelly founded Cornerstone Church out of a calling to see the power of God unleashed in the life of every individual and community. He is a passionate communicator who believes that the Church has a profound opportunity to raise up the next generation. Dan knows that every man and woman was created with a God-given calling that the world desperately needs. He is committed to leading a church that empowers every person to discover and act upon this purpose.

Jenny was moved by the heart of Cornerstone Church ATX and joined the team because she believes in the vision laid out by Cornerstone’s strong and passionate pastors, Dan and Kelly Underhill. At the young age of 12, Jenny was called to pursue leading people into the presence of God through corporate worship and has now been in full time ministry for over 10 years. Through her service at churches in both Austin, TX and Nashville, TN, Jenny has developed a passion not only for worship but also for church leadership and community outreach. Jenny believes with all of her heart that worship, as a lifestyle, is going to propel all of us into more and that the best is yet to come.

Phil and Linda Aarstad came to Austin, Texas from New York to assist Dan and Kelly (their daughter and son-in-law) in planting Cornerstone Church ATX. In April 2020, they celebrate 50 years in ministry and bring that experience to invest in the people that God brings to Cornerstone. Phil’s passion is to disciple saints into true spiritual maturity and see God do amazing miracles in their life both corporately and individually.
Phil and Linda were born and raised in New York City. They have five kids, Mark, Kelly, Lindsay, Blake, and MacKenzie, and nine grandchildren. They come to Austin in response to God’s call and believe God is going to do awesome life changing things at Cornerstone Church ATX.
